Whilst working in Asia with the VSO, the oriental approach to health and well being made a huge impact on Kat's views. On returning to the UK she studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of Westminster.
She graduated 17 years ago and since then has been practicing in a variety of settings providing experience in a broad spectrum of conditions. During the period between 2007 and 2009 she focused mainly on women's health and fertility issues.
Whist maintaining her general practice Kat notes a particular interest in the treatment of insomnia, depression and mental health conditions.
She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and comfortably meets their requirements for continued professional development. She is also the regional co-ordinator for the BAcC.
