Alison Hammerton BSc (Hons) TCM

MBAcC

Alison has always been interested in holistic health and natural medicine. Whilst travelling in China she decided to train in Traditional acupuncture on her return to the UK.

Upon completing a degree in Chinese Medicine she began practicing in the Hope Valley, where she had grown up.

Alison has a keen interested in treating pain and musculoskeletal health. She has been practicing for 11 years and has found, over this time, that to get the best results is to combine a variety of techniques within the same treatment. Therefore, she has gone on to study Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Tuina (Chinese massage), cupping and hot stones.

Alison is a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
