Covid-19 Update
The following information takes into account government guidelines and also recommendations from our professional bodies. We are keeping up to date with policies and will review this on a daily basis.
The Treatment Space is continuing to treat patients with special measures in place to ensure sanitation levels are unquestionable. Anyone in an ‘at risk’ group should contact their therapist to discus treatment.
This decision is based on the fact that health care is not classed as a non essential and the environment is highly controllable and all treatments are provided in a 1:1 setting.
We ask that anyone coming for treatments do not attend if they have flu like symptoms, a cough or high temperature. Also, if you have been in contact with anyone who has been in a high risk area or has themselves been in contact with someone who either has or is suspected of having the coronavirus.
All the therapists at The Treatment Space will follow the same precautions as detailed above.
Treatment Space therapists will make contact with all patients within 24 hours of their appointments to ensure they are aware of this.
We have put into place special measures during this time:
We have allowed 10 minute gaps between appointments so do additional cleaning and to reduce use of the waiting area.
We are no longer using fitted sheets on the couch so that the surface is cleanable with clinic wipes. (We will continue to use single use couch roll for every appointment).
All door handles and surfaces (including chip and pin machine) will be cleaned thoroughly between appointments.
All patients will be asked to wash hands thoroughly on arrival.
Practitioners will also wash their hands at the beginning of appointments as well as before, during and after treatments.
We will no longer use alcohol gel on hands during treatments - we will wash with soap instead.
