Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional Therapy is an evidenced-based complementary therapy applying nutritional research to your own individual needs.

It aims to improve health through supporting body processes such as digestion and energy production and by promoting balance in the hormonal and immune systems.

Food and nutrition need to be optimised to balance these underlying biochemical processes and so promote health and reduce symptoms.

Nutritional Therapy is used to help with a wide range of health issues including;

  • Digestion and Bowel Health

  • Fatigue and Low Energy

  • Stress or Mood Issues

  • Immune Support

  • Fertility and Pregnancy

  • Menstrual problems

  • Menopause

  • Skin Health

  • Weight management

  • Cardiovascular Health

  • Joints and Bone Health

  • Allergies and Intolerances

Q1: What will a consultation involve?

You complete a heath questionnaire and food diary before your first appointment (usually by email, or post). At the first appointment we discuss this information in detail and address your specific health goals. You will receive a written individual nutritional plan.

Q2: How many appointments will I need?

This will depend on your individual circumstances. You may only need one appointment to help you make changes to benefit your health. Complex health problems may need further review appointments to progress the treatment, or you may wish to have review appointments to help you maintain motivation and develop further strategies to make dietary changes.

Q3: How much will it cost?
